DJM-150/250-Fiber Optic Illuminator with Adjustable Intensity (150 & 250 Watt versions)

We have a  standard 150 watt full size illuminator which adds adjustable illumination via an  on/off  intensity control allowing for fine adjustment of the light intensity. Noses pieces are available to accept virtually any light guide. Suitable for mounting on back in space constrained applications. High quality ball bearing fan for low noise and vibration. Rugged aluminum enclosure with enamel coating. Easy lamp replacement via access door underneath unit. Color/daylight filters available.  This unit can also be adapted with an output sleeve so it can be used with up to three different SIGHT-PIPE® gages at the same time. (Shown above with dual light guide adapter). Units in service in virtually every region of the globe. Our most popular "workhorse" model. Shown with set up for two light guide outputs for two different SIGHT-PIPE® gages.

DJM-MVCT Machine Vision Color Temperature Fully Regulated Fiber Optic Illuminator

Many biomedical and machine vision applications require stable color temperatures. All DJM-MVCT series illuminators contain two separate features that both contribute to highly stable light output. The first innovation uses a patented laser drilled diaphragm that enables the light intensity to be varied without a corresponding change in the color temperature. The second innovation is a stabilized power supply that provides light consistency to better than 0.5% when operating at full color temperature.More>

DJM-MLUX   Mini-Lux Illuminator

For those demanding lower light vision applications we also offer the Mini-Lux fiber optic illuminator system (shown right).  It features a DC regulated power source for driving halogen lamps up to 75 watts at 12 volts, supplying a constant voltage not effected by line level fluctuations.  Intensity is controlled by a front panel knob, with repeatable settings verified through the built -in digital LCD light meter, which provides a reference for output level (not calibrated in LUX or Foot Candles). This unit can be used worldwide and has been designed to meet all international safety specifications, including UL, CSA, and TUV.

We also offer a complete selection of light guide lengths, ring lights and custom assemblies to fit the lighting requirements of your particular application.
