| SIGHT-PIPEÒ LANDCHECK GAGES provide engine manufacturers with a practical method to inspect
critical characteristics in cylinder head Intake and Exhaust valve seats. Each Landcheck
Gage is designed and manufactured for the specific application. Landcheck Gages fall into three styles: - go/no-go type gage to check valve seat land width - measuring style to measure valve seat land width - style to check both valve seat diameter and land width

| SIGHT-PIPEÒ CROSSHATCH CHECK
CYLINDER BORE INSPECTION GAGES are used by engine manufactureres to
inspect hone pattern angles and surface conditions in cylinder liners of engine blocks. The Crosshatch Gage
utilizes a large regular series SIGHT-PIPE®
and custom reticle patterns to allow inspectors a quick and accurate way to
visually inspect hone patterns to within limits. This gage can be used on the shop floor
and increases efficiency and reduces time during process inspection.

| SIGHT-PIPEÒ POROSITY CHECK GAGES provide a way to visually locate,
inspect and gage porosity in machined bores. The optical properties of the 360° Series SIGHT-PIPEÒ
provides a complete 360° view of the bore at right angles to
the axis of the bore. With one pass of the 360° SIGHT-PIPEÒ , the complete sidewall can be inspected. Custom reticle marks are added to the SIGHT-PIPEÒ so a comparison of defect size can be made. Other options include adjustable fiber optic illumination and a second "circular" reticle pattern to further inspect for porosity "grouping" or the number of porous areas within a predefined tolerance limit.

| The SIGHT-PIPE®
Locator Gage combines the principles of a Depth
Gage SIGHT-PIPEâ SIGHT-PIPEâ
and a radial
location feature to give inspectors a quick and easy way to visually check internal
locations and sizes of "cross holes", "channel holes" and other
characteristics found on the inside diameter of a bored hole. The gage shown is used to inspect a rocker arm to check the internal break out location and size of the oil holes. These holes are drilled at long, unusual angular positions subject to "drifting" or misalignment.
